Thank you Guy Beringer!

If your weekends are at all like mine, Sunday morning usually starts in a foggy haze. There are usually only 2 things I want to do, eat and figure out what the hell happened the night before.
English writer Guy Beringer is credited with inventing (can you really invent a meal?) brunch in part to help battle a nasty hangover. In his 1895 essay “Brunch: A Plea” he said among other things, “Brunch is cheerful, sociable and inciting. It is talk-compelling. It makes you satisfied with yourself and your fellow beings.”
